What decides the price
Two patients can need the same treatment and be quoted differently, because their teeth aren't the same. These are the main factors:

- Ask what the quote includes: X-rays, follow-up visits, the crown for a root canal, or the materials for an implant.
- Be cautious about a firm price given over the phone without seeing your teeth.
- Ask about alternatives. A lower-cost option may be fine for one tooth and a poor choice for another.
- Getting treated early is usually cheaper. A small cavity is easier to fill than a tooth that needs a root canal.
